And at Above & Beyond, we are proud to present the most innovative stretch tent developments to make any event an unforgettable experience. During the last months, we explored the developments in Stretch tent technology. In a continuous effort to become a better partner for you, and by listening to our valuable client´s feedback, we're introducing some exciting new developments: HiFlexx material (740g/m2), loops, and a ratchet system.

Triflexx vs HiFlexx

Triflexx, with its weight of 560 g/m2, has long been our faithful companion. One major feature of the Triflex is that the material is very elastic and lighter. Also the fabric is double coated , which makes it easy to clean.  Now, we also offer the HiFlexx material, with a weight of 740 g/m2. This material will not only provide extra strength but also more durability, and it is especially recommended for long term setups, while Triflexx is more recommended for companies who set up and build down the tents regularly or who want a more affordable solution

Clamps vs. Loops System

Our classic clamp system has been on the market for a while now. And while a lot of our clients love it, others were asking for an upgrade, so we have now developed a loop system for our stretch tents. The loops come already attached and stitched to the borders of the stretch tent so less time needed for setting up and more convenience. Moreover, they can handle more weight, meaning you can set up your tent without worries. The clamp system is still a sturdy system, which needs a little bit more work in the first set up (as you have to attach the clamps manually in the beginning), but will still be offered for those clients who want a more affordable solution, or for those who already own a stretch tent with clamps and want to continue using this system!                           

New tension straps with ratchet system

We offer two different types of tension straps depending on your needs: the regular tension straps and the new powerful ratchet system. With the regular straps, which consist of a 4m long strap + a short strap with a buckle, you can adjust the tent´s tension, but it requires a bit more strength to completely pull them to tension. But they are a very affordable solution to install your tent! The ratchet system is very interesting because it provides a lot of strength and tension with lower effort.

The ratchets provide a stronger, more durable solution and ease to anchor the stretch tent. The rope is made of double-braided high-tenacity polyester, characterized by its strength, durability, chemical resistance and UV protection. While the ratchet, made of glass filled nylon, resists high pulling forces and increases the ease of use considerably.
