Partyspace is now Above & Beyond

After fifteen great years under the Partyspace name, we are excited to unveil a new and transformative chapter that implicates a fresh perspective and an even better experience. We are proud to introduce our new name and updated brand identity: Above & Beyond.

Why the change?

As a company that is constantly evolving, over the past fifteen years - and mainly the last four - we have not only experienced growth but also transformation.

Partyspace once started in 2009 as a modest company with a limited range of tents and accessories and with a few hundred customers in Belgium.

When we took over in 2019, we were with a team of eleven, including both of us as managing directors. Now, four years on, we have over thirty employees. Currently, in addition to our head office in Beselare, we have external warehouses in Kuurne, a 3,500 m² production facility in Deinze, a sales office with showroom in the Netherlands (Ede) and a sales office in Spain (Malaga). Turnover increased similarly. We are modestly proud of that, especially considering all the events of the past few years.

At the production facility, we manufacture sails for stretch tents, shade cloths, shelters and outdoor structures. Besides manufacturing sails, we have also added an aluminium and woodworking department. With this in-house production, we can be short on time. We control the process ourselves, which offers a lot of flexibility to the customer in terms of customisation or non-standard products.

It is this evolution that has brought us to the point where we are today. We are ready to develop further internationally and therefore it was time to present ourselves differently. For a big part of our (international) customer base, which has grown significantly in recent years, the 'who are we' aspect was no longer clear. This is partly because we carry a backpack from the past as a 'supplier' of tents. On the other hand, we had a lot of our own brands per tent type, which made customers think that we were just resellers of these brands, but did not develop anything ourselves or had in-house production. Everything now comes together under the same name, which can only benefit the familiarity and image. It is not just a change of name, but also how we will introduce ourselves. The so-called 'look and feel' and 'tone of voice' are also changing.

Much more than ever, we want to come out with our expertise and ability. The direct consequence of this is that some products currently in the range will go out. We want to focus on our 'core' and what we are really good at. To our customers, it must be clear what we do and what we stand for. They like to buy from the expert because that creates trust. Few people have experience with our products and then they want to be supported and relieved in their purchase as much as possible.

Our target groups remain unchanged. We continue to find it extremely important to serve a broad spectrum of customers. This could be a private individual, but equally a large company, a festival or professional users such as rental companies.

Why Above & Beyond?

Above & Beyond encapsulates the essence of who we are and what we want to achieve.

"Above" symbolises our main products that can literally be seen above your heads: our tents, tarpaulins, shade cloths, canopies... "Above" represents the physical aspects of our products that are both functional and aesthetic.

On the other hand, there is "Beyond", which represents more than just physical structures. This pillar includes accessories and add-ons, customer service, customisation, in-house production, expertise and support. This multi-faceted pillar embodies our commitment to a holistic approach to service. It is not only about the products themselves, but also the experience around them.

Above & Beyond in its entirety underscores the extra mile we are willing to go and at the same time the service and customer satisfaction we strive for.
